William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, MI and The Royal Park Hotel have partnered together to provide the best in post-operative overnight care for our plastic surgery patients. The Royal Park Hotel is located in Rochester, MI and is a convenient 11-minute drive from the hospital. If needed, transportation will be provided. Your family members or caregivers may stay with you at no additional charge.
The Royal Park guest rooms and suites are very larger with the bedroom and living areas, and have been specifically reserved for Beaumont patients.
The Royal Park Hotel has been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation and offers endless amenities and personal service to the Beaumont guest. The Royal Park team welcomes the Beaumont guest to a restful recovery environment where privacy and comfort are maintained at all times.
Should you desire, upon consultation with your physician, you can arrange for a nurse from Beaumont Home Care® or companion care from Beaumont Helping Hands® to stay with you at The Royal Park after your surgery. Your physician may recommend or even require you to use this service.
To be a part of The Royal Park experience we ask that you and your physician complete your selections from the options provided in this packet. Payment is made to Beaumont for room charges at that time, and your credit card number will be given to the hotel for incidents you may incur. Upon discharge from our recovery unit, the hotel will be contacted so that a staff member can meet you at the hotel and immediately escort you to your suite. There is no need for you to check in or out at the hotel front desk.

BEAUMONT HOME CARE®
Beaumont Home Care is able to provide Skilled Nursing care to any patient outside the hospital setting. Patients who have had outpatient surgery are excellent candidates for home care services. Registered Nurses are available to see patients on an intermittent basis, assessing patient status and evaluating patient needs. They provide educational opportunities to the patient and family or caregivers while collaborating closely with the patient’s physician. Beaumont Home Care is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
BEAUMONT HELPING HANDS®
Following an initial nursing visit by Beaumont Home Care, Beaumont Helping Hands® staff can provide personal assistance for 8 or more hours in your hotel room. Services may include: support getting to the bathroom, straightening the bed linen, obtaining and serving beverages, snacks and meals, helping with ice packs or a shower as appropriate. The attendant can also monitor temperature, blood pressure and pulse and provide miscellaneous assistance to ensure comfort and convenience.
Service can be scheduled for 8 or more hours. Round the clock or designated periods of help can be scheduled for as many days as desired. They also accept requests for service in your own home after you check out the hotel. Staff can provide personal assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparations, errands and transportation.
